FCCLA Is Taking On The Willy’s Pantry Project
Press Release
This year FCCLA is taking on the Willy’s Pantry Project at Lawrence County High School. This project was started two years ago by Mrs. Shannon Watson, who along with others saw the need to help students with food and personal items.
Elementary school children are covered by the Backpack Program, but sadly high school students aren’t as fortunate.
FCCLA is very privileged to take on this community service project. We have been working with our students, faculty, and staff to help our peers who are in need, by stocking Willy’s Pantry.
LCHS makes sure the pantry is stocked and ready to be distributed at any time.
During the 2012-2013 school year Lawrence County High School, along with FCCLA, have collected several items.
FCCLA is very pleased and thankful for the success of this project. Anyone who would like to make a donation to Willy’s Pantry may call Mrs. Holly True, Mrs. Patti Lopp, and/or Mrs. Sherryl Hester at LCHS 762-9412.
